Library Statistics of Colleges and Universities: Trends 1968-1977, Summary Data 1977

摘要

Trends in data on collections, operating expenditures, staff, circulation, and interlibrary loans in college and university libraries are examined over the decade from 1968 to 1977. Increases in library resources are compared with increases in the student population and with several measures of inflation to assess the real growth in academic libraries over the decade.
