Retrofitting Existing New York City Power Plants for District Heating: Technical and Economic Analysis

This study evaluated the economic and technical feasibility of retrofitting an existing New York City Power plant for district heating. The study examined an existing electric generating station from which pressurized hot water would be sent through underground pipes to a neighborhood, also selected in the study, to provide heat.
