Diet and Iron Status: A Study of Relationships, United States, 1971-74

The report presents findings of the first National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey on the iron status of the U.S. population 1-74 years of age during 1971-74. The relationship between several dietary, health, and socioeconomic variables and iron status also are presented in the report for selected population groups.
