Cultural Resource Investigations for Section 3 and Selected Laterals of Section 2 of the Proposed Mirdan Canal, Valley County, Nebraska. Volume 1

A cultural resource pedestrian survey was conducted for approximately 52.3 miles (951 acres) of the proposed Mirdan Canal in Valley County, Nebraska. The report includes archaeological and historical background for the area, the environment, a research design and interpretation of research, field and analysis methodology, a summary of survey results, and management recommendations. Two historic sites and nine isolated finds were recorded.
