One of the unique and challenging engineering problems associated with the Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC) program is the design and analysis of the OTEC cold water pipe (CWP) which is used to deliver cold ocean bottom water to the power system. The present report describes a computer-aided analytical model developed for use in these OTEC CWP design studies.
