摘要

Progress in research on analytical and numerical methods for optimal control problems is reported. Topics under study include: (1) supplementary optimality properties of gradient-restoration algorithms; (2) conjugate gradient-restoration algorithms for optimal control problems with nondifferential constraints and general boundary conditions; (3) Chebyshev problems of optimal control; (4) linear, two-point boundary-value problems; and (5) non-linear, two-point boundary-value problems involving differential constraints, nondifferential constraints, and general boundary conditions. Research reports, journal articles, book contributions, master's and doctoral theses, and public presentations dealing with computational methods of interest for static and dynamic systems are listed.
