Marine Education: A Seagoing Educational Experience

The University of Texas Marine Science Institute at Port Aransas has had an active program in marine education since 1974. The overall purpose of the visiting class program is to enable students to gain hands-on experience with a wide variety of collecting gear and laboratory apparatus and the techniques involved in the correct use of the equipment.
