Foreign Technology Alert- Bibliography: Photography and Recording Devices

摘要

A systematically organized collection of abstracts from the NTIS bibliographic data base is provided on reports relating to photographic, imaging and recording systems originating from countries outside the USA. A tailored search of the data base was performed and the output carefully categorized, edited and indexed. The majority of the foreign technology originates from West Germany, with work being done for BMFT by companies such as Rollei-Werke and Agfa-Gevaert AG. Other important sources are Australia, Canada, France and the U.K. Most reports are in their native language, but titles are annotated to advise of non-English texts. A proportion of documents have author abstracts and summaries in English. Subjects covered include: Photographic devices and imaging systems (Cameras, Image carriers, Holography and Applications); Audiovisual recording (Digital, Magnetic and Video); Date encoding, recording and storage; and Satellite equipment. Each of the 12 sections in the book is cross-referenced and there is also an author index and useful subject index based on major descriptors. (Copyright (c) Infocom, 1982.)
