Costs and Returns of Producing Milk in the United States - 1979, 1980, and Preliminary 1981

This is the sixth annual report on the cost of producing milk in the United States. Estimates of the 1979, 1980, and 1981 costs and returns are presented in this report. The data on which these estimates are based came from a variety of sources, but the primary source is a 1980 survey of dairy farmers. The data are aggregated in this report to make regional and U.S. estimates.
