The Determination of Triazine Pesticides in Industrial and Municipal Wastewater: Method 619

摘要

This is a gas chromatographic (GC) method applicable to the determination of selected pesticides in municipal and industrial discharges as provided under 40CFR 136.1. A sample is solvent extracted with methylene chloride using a separatory funnel. The extract is concentrated and analyzed by GC using a nitrogen/phosphorus or reductive electrolytic conductivity detector. The compounds included in the method scope are: ametryn, atraton, atrazine, prometon, prometryne, propazine, secbumeton, simazine, terbuthylazine, and terbutryn.
