This monograph presents the latest and original views on the structure and species composition of some groups of trematodes. It gives the salient features of families Stomylotrematidae and Ochetostomatidae, of two subfamilies of the large family Plagiorchidae, and of the subfamily Sphaerostomatinae. One section is devoted to the morphology, taxonomy, and biology of the metacercariae of trematodes of the order Strigeidida. The book should prove useful to biologists, helminthologists, and veterinarians.
