Analysis of the Sea Water Systems of Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion Pilot Plants. Volume 1. Analysis

An analysis was performed and a computer program was developed for the sea water systems of Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC) pilot plants. This report presents the models developed and gives the details of the numerical solution procedure utilized. Steady-state and transient performance calculations were performed for the OTEC-1 system. The sea water systems computer code manual is presented in Volume II.
