摘要

The North Rim Development Concept Plan responds to a two-part management problem: (1) to meet the needs for convenience, safety, and recreation for an increased number of visitors while (2) maintaining a relaxed atmosphere and assuring continued preservation of the natural and historic environment. The methods for dealing with the problem are defined in the Master Plan. The plan describes the natural environment, existing development and visitor use, development alternatives, and impacts on natural/cultural environments.
