Test Excavations at Sites 32WE101, 32WE103, 32WE109 and 32WE122, Located in the Proposed Lonetree Reservoir and Dikes and New Rockford Canal, Wells County, North Dakota

Four prehistoric sites located in Wells County, North Dakota, were tested to determine eligibility for nomination to the National Register. Recommendations are that two sites, 32WE101 and 32WE109, do not warrant further investigation and two sites, 32WE103 and 32WE122 have potential for yielding significant information regarding stone cairns and stone rings, respectively.
