Acculturation of Asian American Professional Women

摘要

The extent to which sociocultural and psychological factors in the self-concept of Asian-American women account for their differential levels of occupational attainment and work satisfaction was studied. It was found that self-concept components were not as strong an influence on occupational attainment and work satisfaction as the assimilation theory has suggested.
