New England/New York Long Range Dredge Management Study

摘要

The concluding phase of the New England/New York Long Range Dredge Management Program was conducted: to explore the relationship between dredging and the region's economic well-being; to establish and improve dredge management strategies at the interstate and state level; and to research the technical aspects of dredge material disposal and the dredging of highly contaminated harbor sediments. The study was divided into a series of seven case studies, each addressing a separate but complementary issue and each furthering the overall goal of improving the state of dredge management in the region.
