Memory Psychophysics for Visual Dimensions

摘要

The application of established psychophysical methods such as numerical magnitude estimation to the study of memory is outlined. It was concluded, that the increase in reaction time with judged magnitude is not an artifact, that it occurs when the standard and comparison stimuli are held in STM, and that the effect holds for the nonspatial dimension of loudness.
