REGION is an input-output model specifying production and employment by industry for Norwegian counties. This report discusses the experience drawn from recent works with this model. Technical problems as well as the use of the model in formalized planning processes are dealt with. The model can be used i.a. to pinpoint regional problems. Experimental calculations of employment by county towards the year 2000 are presented.
