Annual Housing Survey: 1979. United States and Regions. Part B: Indicators of Housing and Neighborhood Quality by Financial Characteristics

This report presents final statistics on indicators of housing and neighborhood quality by financial characteristics from the 1979 Annual Housing Survey for the United States inside and outside standard metropolitan statistical areas (SMSA's) and for each of the four geographic regions. Tables giving data by regions list information according to all races, black household head, and Spanish - origin household head. Utilization characteristics and services available, selected structural characteristics by deficiencies, and selected neighborhood characteristics are included. Other data cover income of families and primary individuals by utilization characteristics and services available, income of families and primary individuals by selected structural characteristics and deficiencies, income of families and primary individuals by selected neighborhood characteristics, value of owner - occupied housing by utilization characteristics and services available, gross rent, and value of owner - occupied housing. A map, table - finding guides, and two appendices are included. The appendices give area classifications, definitions, and explanations of subject characteristics, a facsimile of the Annual Housing questionnaire, and sources and reliability of estimates.
