摘要

The institute was set up in 1962 with the assistance of UNDP to conduct fundamental and applied research on sheep and wool production and wool utilization, and to impart practical training in this area. This report describes the research results in the area of genetics and breeding, nutrition and grassland forage agronomy, sheep and goat physiology, sheep health, wool science, fur animal breeding, and carpet wool and Karakul pelt production.
