Research on Education in Developing Countries

摘要

Report of a conference convened by U.S. Agency for International Development (AID) on research needed to improve education in developing countries. Identifies research topics for the next decade especially with respect to formal schooling at the elementary and secondary levels. AID expects to make a major sustained commitment over the next decade to human resources development in six African countries. The work of the conference was related to existing bodies of knowledge and research by participant summaries of several subfields: educational financing, science education, education and work, communications development and education, nonformal education, language in education, and research training in education.
