Perceptual Analysis of Speech Sounds

摘要

Experiments on the identification and discrimination of speech signals were conducted in an effort to uncover and identify the basic underlying cues to speech perception, particularly the segmental contrasts that occur in English. Perceptual learning of complex speech-like acoustic signals was studied in order to further understand the acoustic and sensory correlates of the distinctive features used in spoken languages.
