Assessment questions relating to general administration cover structure and internal operations, corporate maintenance, resource generation, reducing expenses, resource allocation, and external relations. Topics addressed under project management are basic organization, relationship to the central office, and site responsibilities. The section on finance focuses on maintaining accounts and records, financial controls, managing cash flow and maximizing income, and linkages. Management information questions assess the system's objectives, structure, processing mechanisms, and products. Establishing the workload, allocating staff and materials, performing tasks, and linkages are treated in the custodial and maintenance section. Purchasing and inventory questions concentrate on establishing and acting on needs, while the rental and occupancy questions address establishing ground rules, the intake process, functions for occupied units, handling moveouts, legal action for violations, and linkages. The assessment of personnel and training management is concerned with policies and administration, recruiting, compensation, training, evaluation, incentives, and tenant recruitment.
