This report is one of the six volumes. It consist of annotated bibliographies of works concerned with the prehistory and history, as well as contemporary use of the area now designated the Upper Delaware National Scenic and Recreational River. The report also consists of an introduction, an annotated bibliography of prehistory and archaeology, and contemporary maps, an appendix of mid-19th century maps of valley's hamlets and villages.
