Research Agenda for Seaport Management and Related Marine Transportation Issues

These proceedings consist of three sections: The first section provides a general framework for understanding seaport management and was the basis for developing the eight discussion topics. Each discussion group was responsible for producing a set of recommendations as a result of their session. The second section records the recommendations made on each of the eight topics, based on a written draft prepared by each of the topic coordinators. Many of the recommendations include multiple aspects and could suggest several viable research projects. Finally, the third section arranges the recommendations in three levels of priority.
