This report is the second part of a three part project associated with the design development of a standardized coal fired steam turbine propulsion system; specifically suited for 80000 dwt through 180000 dwt bulk carriers (colliers). This report provides the contract design definition consisting of five volumes; machinery specifications, plans, standards, purchase specifications, and the machinery design history and development. This volume is Volume 3, Machinery and Equipment Standards.
