Estimating Temperature and Moisture Regimes in Forest and Rangeland Soils Using Thermal Remote Sensing

This research task seeks to investigate the usefulness of shortwave and longwave spectral Thematic Mapper Simulator (TMS) data and additional environmental site variables for stratifying forest landstypes into specific soil temperature regimes and for mapping sites suitable for reforestation programs.
