Consolidation of United States Information Agency Activities in Washington, DC

The United States Information Agency will consolidate about 90 percent of its headquarters employees in three adjacent buildings at 4th and C Streets, SW. This consolidation should result in more efficient agency operations and space utilization and in savings. The Administrator of General Services should monitor changes in the number of USIA employees and activities to be assigned to the new space at 400 C Street to ensure that utilization of the space is in accordance with criteria in Federal Property Management Regulations.
