South Lake 314 Lake Restoration Project: Design and Feasibility Study

摘要

Problems in South Lake, Florida result from the build-up of nutrient-rich sediments and the overgrowth of aquatic macrophytes. The authors examined 9 restoration techniques and recommended the partial dredging and mechanical harvesting of the lake; then a complete drawdown and stormwater ordinances to control nutrient loading (especially nitrogen loading).
