The book is intended for the many different groups including those with no technical training in the health field, including Peace Corps Volunteers, who are working in a variety of programs in developing tropical countries. The aims of their projects are often at first sight remote from child nutrition, but experience has shown that their work has often involved them, directly or indirectly, with the problems of malnutrition in children.
