EPA Funded Diagnostic/Feasibility Study. Final Report for Mirror Lake, Adams County, North Dakota

摘要

The stormwater runoff and subsequent nutrient loading have left Mirror Lake, North Dakota with a shallow depth and a dense growth of the aquatic macrophytes, coontail and bulrush. The lake was drained. The recommendations made are: dredging sediments to give lake a depth of 4.3 meters (max); seeding and restoring embankment; Best Management Practices to reduce nonpoint source pollution; and stormwater diversion.
