Compilation of Moored Instrument Data and Associated Oceanographic Observations from the Vema Channel, 1979-1981, Volume 32

Summaries of long-term current and temperature measurements from moored instruments in the Vema Channel and a sample of hydrographic stations located in the area of these moorings are presented. Vema Channel is a deep trough in the Rio Grande Rise connecting the Argentine and Brazil Basins, in the vicinity of 30 S and 40 W. There were two settings in the experiment and the purpose was to study the flow of bottom water through the Vema Channel. Tables, plots and statistics are presented for filtered and unfiltered time series.
