Thermodynamic Properties of Pollucite (a Cesium-Aluminum-Silicate)

The thermodynamic properties of pollucite ((Cs0.650)Na(0.185)Rb(0.028)(AlSi2) (O(5.863)OH(0.137):O.19H2O) were determined by the Bureau of Mines in collaboration with the Argonne National Laboratory. Various experimental data were combined with other data from the literature to calculate the Gibbs energies of formation and equilibrium constants of formation over the temperature range of measurements. Standard enthalpies of formation and Gibbs energies of formation are given as functions of temperature.
