Water Quality Analysis and Restoration Plan for Erie and Campbell Lakes

摘要

Erie and Campbell Lakes in Washington State are both eutrophic, shallow lakes with blue-green algal blooms, aquatic macrophytes, and poor transparency. The study recommends watershed management in the form of Best Management Practices (BMPs) to control nutrient loading; alum treatment to control internal phosphorus loading; aquatic weed harvesting; and monitoring to evaluate effectiveness of the treatment.
