Fatigue Damage Assessment of Welded Steel Structures

Outlines a methodology that can be applied to assess the fatigue damage sustained by an existing welded steel structure. A fuzzy logic (fuzzy sets) methodology is utilized herein to collectively evaluate the many factors which influence fatigue damage. An example is presented to illustrate the proposed technique for fatigue damage assessment.
