Isotachophoretic Analysis of Chromosomal Proteins

Isotachophoretic patterns of nuclear proteins of normal and toxically stressed rat liver and submaxillary glands have been analyzed. The lower limits of protein detection have also been determined. Individual protein spots in polyacrylamide electrophoretic gels were correlated with individual peaks in Tachophor ultraviolet protiles. Isotachophoretic techniques have been developed to identify marker proteins with biological indicator proteins isolated from gel chromatographs.
