Cesarean Section: Effect on Future Pregnancy and Outcome

Study had two primary objectives: (1) to determine the frequency, spacing, and outcome of pregnancies that occur subsequent to primary cesarean childbirth, (2) to determine the extent to which vaginal delivery of live births occur in pregnancies subsequent to primary cesarean childbirth, and to compare the outcomes of such deliveries to the outcome of repeat cesarean childbirth.
