Job Corps Vocational Education Offerings Review. Documentation Report No. 2: Identification of High Growth Occupations

National employment projections from the Bureau of Labor Statistics' 'National Industry - Occupation Employment Matrix Projections to 1990' were used to prepare this report. These data were combined with information on education and training level required for prospective occupations from the National Occupational Information Coordinating Committee's edition of Vocational Preparation and Occupations. Using these sources, occupations that are suitable for addition to Job Corps were identified and ranked according to the number of job openings projected for the next decade.
