Review of Time Dependent Deformation Models of Plastic Gas Piping. Volume 1

摘要

This study constitutes the first phase of an effort to develop an analytical predictive model for slow crack growth in polyethylene pipes under service loading conditions. A review of literature on temperature effects on viscoelastic deformation of polymers is presented. In particular, a discussion is given of the applicability of the time temperature superposition principle to creep or stress relaxation in polymers.
