PMOD Plotting System for AFOS (Automated Field Operations and Services): Users Manual for PMOD Software Package

The purpose of this Users Manual is to instruct National Weather Service (NWS) personnel on how to use the PMOD software package. PMOD (= Plot MODel) provides advanced graphics and plotting capabilities for the Automation of Field Operation and Services (AFOS) system. It will be used at virtually all NWS stations as a nationally supported standard applications program. PMOD has four components: PMOD, HCOPY, GENUTF, and GVER, all of which are described in this Manual. The acronym PMOD thus refers to both the entire software package and to one of its four components.
