Programming Language PL/SEQ for Digital Signal Processing Systems.

摘要

This paper presents the definition of a new high level language for digital signal processing: the Programming Language for SEQuences (PL/SEQ). The PL/SEQ is designed to be an efficient way to describe data independent signal processing programs in various environments, including the single chip signal processors. The structure of PL/SEQ supports modular programming and the formation of routine libraries. Interprocedural communication mechanisms are designed to enhance the use of multiple processors.
