摘要

This volume consists of excavation reports of three Hohokam sites: Frogtown: (AZ U:15:61), Siphon Draw (AZ U:10:6), and El Polvoron (AZ U:15:59). The first two are substantial Santa Cruz and Sacaton phase settlements located on Queen Creek and Siphon Draw, respectively. The last is located on Queen Creek and appears to represent the Hohokam post-Classic; it is the first single component site of this time period (post-A.D. 1400) to be excavated. The basic data and site-level interpretations of these three reports provide substantial new information about the Hohokam occupation of intermittent drainages as well as the character of the latest of the Hohokam phases, which has been designated, after the type site, Polvoron.
