The FRA performed the Safety Margin Tests of a plywood lading that is suspected of being a derailment cause factor, with the objectives of determining conditions that cause the plywood to shift and the effect of the shifted plywood on derailment margins. Volume 1 presents a summary of the safety margin tests performed and test results.
