Highway Uses of Epoxy with Concrete

This synthesis will be useful to materials engineers and others seeking guidance on the use of epoxies with concrete. Detailed information is presented on the formulation, mixing, handling, placing, and limitations of epoxy. Highway agencies are using epoxy for many different purposes including bonding and sealing concrete, filling cracks, anchoring bolts, and coating reinforcing steel. This report of the Transportation Research Board contains information on recommended properties and environmental limitations for epoxies and epoxy mortars for specific end uses.
