Power from the Sun - Light at Night

摘要

In this paper the basics of photovoltaic technology are explained. The application described in the paper is the lighting of a house during the night from energy generated and collected during the day. The aspects covered in a general fashion are the energy produced by a typical panel, the energy used in the house, different components and their placement, the wiring of the system and maintenance requirements. Sample calculations and costs are also included. The solar panel used in the energy calculations is the ARCO M-61 panel.
