摘要

A primary goal of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is the conservation and sound management of sport fishery and wildlife resources for the benefit of present and future generations of Americans. This summary of the activities of the Research and Development Divisions during the fiscal year 1983 (October 1, 1982-September 30, 1983) provides an overview of the nature and scope of research completed and directs attention to the results that should be of significance in the management of fish and wildlife.
