A symposium/workshop on quality assurance in nuclear medicine, cosponsored by the NCDRH and the Federated Council of Nuclear Medicine Organizations, was held April 27-29, 1981 in Washington, D.C., to review the state of the art and to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and information on current techniques in this area. This volume contains the papers presented at the symposium and the results of workshops which were held at the meeting.
