AFOS (Automation of Field Operations and Services) Handbook 4 Network Operations

The purpose of AFOS Handbook 4 is to define roles and responsibilities for operation of the Automation of Field Operations and Services (AFOS) system management levels and to maximize the utility and reliability of the AFOS network. This handbook implements national policy and establishes guidelines and instructions for operating the regional networks and for interacting with the Systems Monitoring and Coordination Center (SMCC). Other AFOS Handbooks are being developed. They will serve as a detailed reference library for operators and managers of the AFOS System.
