The report presents an overall analysis of the different ways legislative and regulatory review is handled among Offices of Inspectors General (OIGs) and discusses the entire process of legislative and regulatory review. Included in the report are discussions of how items are received, the types of reviews conducted, how reviews are coordinated, how differences are resolved, as well as discussion of OIG-initiated legislative and regulatory proposals.
