Information Sharing and Consultation among Major Food Aid Donors

The report recommends enhanced cooperation among donors. This is desirable in light of (1) the increased commonality of purpose among donors of food aid, (2) the difficulties in administering food aid to African states where need has grown the most, and (3) the greater sharing of food aid provision among donors compared to one and two decades ago. Information sharing among donors would increase efficiency in achieving the goals of food aid.
